To Oleika Temple,

On behalf of my mother and father, and especially on behalf of my brother Chris, I would like to send my sincere thanks and appreciation to all the wonderful shriners and their ladies that came by and saw him during his short illness.

I would also like to thank all of those that showed their love during our very trying time after his passing. The outpouring of love and support makes me proud to be the son of a shriner, and all of those that knew Chris knew how proud he was to be the son of a shriner as well. The generosity shown to my parents during this time just shows what a tight knit family the Oleikans really are. I would like to especially thank all of those that found it in their heart to donate to the fund for autistic children that we are starting in Chris’ name, it was his wish to be able to “help kids like me”, and through your donations you are helping to make his wish a reality.

A very special thanks goes to Brutis Metcalfe and his lady Monete for their overwhelming display of love and support during this very difficult time. Not only were they there for my mom and dad but they also made sure that I was alright, and for that I can never thank them enough.

Chris’ unfortunate passing has been hard and will continue to be so in the coming months, but the love that was shown to me and my parents helps to ease the pain. Once again thank you to the Oleika shrine, Potentate Harry Rice, and all of the other Nobles and their Ladies for their love, support, and generosity during this very difficult time.
